Your feelings towards Astral Buddy mirrors my feelings towards the LN series. I don't really care about anything that happens that doesn't involve Misaki in some way. I'm particularly fond of AB because I'm somewhat attached to Tokiwadai Girls, not only Misaki. So seeing new faces like Iruka, Kobayashi, and Komaki, along familiar ones like Junko, Kuroko, and Misaki, watching them share a story together has been very enjoyable. Because again, Misaki's best qualities begin to show when she's either by herself, with Mikoto, or with her clique. Sadly, it looks like it's ending will be in the next 3-5 chapters. It's very close to the climax, and it'd be weird to see it continue past this arc. Since the manga is called Astral Buddy, and one of it's 4 main protagonists is Yuri Senya, who's esper power is.. well. Astral Buddy. Her story will likely be over when this arc is, and as such, AB will end. If it's not, I'll throw a party.
