I guess it could be used as a guideline but even then it shouldn't be used to decipher a single post as things are never that easy or cut and dry. Got nothing interesting going on at the moment and conversation is nice so tossing my two cents in.
/c/ has not been long ruined by newfags or shitposters (far from it) and I most certainly don't lash out against users left and right, I browse the board normally and have a ton of fun interacting with all the different anons here - there is no widespread cancer or people ruining the board. If things weren't fun anymore then I'd just leave, not willingly shit up threads and be depressed. Again, you've only read one of my many posts today.
Things like moderation being a joke and telling newfags to "lurk more" has been a thing for ages across many if not all boards - "lurk more faggot" has been said thousands upon thousands of times before me and it doesn't make someone a cynical burnt out shitposter for saying it. Especially with a board as easy as /c/, it shouldn't be hard to read the sticky to learn the basics. Being new isn't a bad thing but putting no effort in posting is never a good thing.
It is what it is though and you're free to hold your own opinion.
