Even after you defeat Archer there's still a lot more to go before she actually comes back. How I would've done it is have Rin talk him down herself instead of having the obligatory battle scene and move the battle elsewhere if necessary.

Hollow is great because of this outside of the fact that it's made to appeal to fans of every route, so some scenes I can't bring myself to read. It sometimes has this issue where I find myself thinking "which continuity is this scene supposed to take place in".
Also Rin seems to thankfully avoid this issue for the most part but there have been a couple instances where I've gone "?" on some scenes. Either they aren't written by Kinoko or he was on something while writing them. These seem to happen only when it's not a one-on-one scene. The biggest offender so far was the whole play sequence at the halfway point. Felt like a fever dream.
