>>4116385>shouldn't her legs be longer in comparison to her torso? I'm sure if it sticks out to you it must be wrong. Now that I see it from that perspective yeah, it's totally wrong. The thing about the legs there is that they were an afterthought I drew in 5 minutes, the image was supposed to only be from around the skirt/ZR up originally. This is not an excuse for drawing bad anatomy at all. Probably part of the reason why it doesn't seem right is that they weren't part of the original construction lines.
It's a simple upright image from the most simple perspective because I've wanted to learn to draw the torso better. It has a tendency to end up too long or god forbid too wide even though it's such a simple shape. But it dictates the arms and the legs so it's very important. Another issue I have is the clothing, those creases are hard to understand so I overthink and wing it. When I look at how clothing behaves in the mirror it really shouldn't be that hard though.
I need to focus on the full picture for the next one, and a harder perspective. Pic related, there's something about this image that I love. I want to draw like this.
>after having watched it four times or so in the past year...could you watch it with me?
Our problems seem quite the opposite. You must know it by heart by now.
