How is it that every single pro-ReiQ/3.33 poster in this thread, have been revealed to not be fans of Rei at all, but Asuka fans, Misato fans or otherwise? How come the new renditions of Asuka or Misato are more popular than their original versions? How come they sell more? What possibly could be the difference?
The difference is that Rei Q was made by authors that always had a grudge against Rei, and Khara has been degrading Rei over a long time period while strongly advertising characters like Asuka and Kaworu. "Rei" in the Rebuilds as of 3.33 has gone way past the usual threshold of degenerative character rendition. Rei Q is just one part of it, but technically we can consider Rei Q not Rei for many reasons:
- Rei Q does not continue Rei (from 2.0)'s character.
- Rei Q does not represent Rei from the original series and does not continue the character.
- Rei Q has destroyed the continuation of Rei from 2.0 's character, blocked it completely and ruined it in comparison with the original.
- Rei Q mocks the character of Rei herself.
- Rei Q does not have Rei's soul, and is therefore not Rei
- Rei Q is outside EVA01, while Rei(from 2.0) is as of now inside EVA01.
- Rei Q is a clone, and two clones are not the same individual.
If you would just be honest with yourself, and treat yourself and others with more respect, even if it hurts your pride a little, you'd see we are completely right, and it explains absolutely everything that has happened so far, and why it happened. Or you know, run away like you always do.
