I would say most people prefer to relate to others who can be honest about things rather than lie about things. Nobody is claiming sanctity, it is obvious nobody can be completely honest all the time. As for your saying someone who is honest will be either regarded as "assholes" or "ignored by society" I can only see as something you spawned out of your head, I see no reason why that would be. there's a difference between being honest or blunt and be insulting. You ask for tact and for people to refrain from being regarded as "assholes", yet you're the one in a thread on 4Chan calling others autistic through the cover of a computer screen.
