In seriousness, aside from the most loved and animated animes all characters do look quite similar, especially when they share color palettes. There just isn't enough money to consistently render features (facial or clothing, which is already something the 2011 anime did very well compared to almost all other animes I've seen (holy shit, costume swaps)).
