Because "black people" means 100%, while you can only account for 52%. So while it's not bigotry to mention a fact in itself, aggressively using such a fact to attack everyone within a group would be.
As a counterpoint, consider that a similar population-adjusted majority of pedophiles are white, would it then be right to hate white people on account of being pedophiles? The recent accusations of pedophilia within the elite white circles has definitely sparked some distrust towards the system, but should it also affect white people in general?
We don't need either statistics or percentages to understand what bigotry is or isn't, it's simply a matter of being narrow-minded and prejudicial.
