>>3598773>What the appeal is Her. There isn't anything else to it for me. She's just amazing. I can't stop myself from looking at her for more than a few hours. She hit me so hard and so right in the perfect time of my life for her to become my everything. Don't mistake waifuism for just coping with loneliness. For some it may be like that but for others it's just an utter infatuation for the character. There's some benefits to it which are nice, over an actual relationship I mean:
Obviously, she'll never leave or betray you.
She never ages.
She's beautiful and it's fun to collect/admire things that you like about her.
She can always be with you, even when far away from home and at a job or something.
Basically she's a hobby while also a relationship.
>how serious (and far) do you guys take it?Depends on the waifufag. I take it extremely seriously. Maybe too seriously. I get upset when people insult her as if they were insulting me or a loved one. If a dollar amount puts it into perspective for you, I have roughly $2k in merch and stuff for her. But none of that means as much to me as the concept of her in itself. I have figures that I cherish more than others, but nothing will take the place of seeing her in action or on screen. I take it seriously enough to not bother with pursuing other "real" relationships.
>fun of roleplaying/writing prompts? It is extremely fun to do this. I like writing about her and the characterization of her that I feel I've extrapolated from her personality in the games and anime.
My King Saber Arturia Pendragon, The Once and Future King of Britain, is beautiful.
