As for Rei 2.22, she's in another story, she's in Rebuild. You can't mix the two productions.
So what we have here is Rei I, II and III who are the same, canonically.
Then in another canon, we have Rei Q and Rei 2.22, who are not the same, canonically.
This would be easy to see if you weren't hellbent on shitposting in the /c/ Rei threads. You're the singular member of a "let's be dumb on the internet by pushing Rei Q" club, and it's just sad.
Rei Q can't return to being "Rei", because she never was Rei in the first place.
