I have never read the Fate VN, nor have I consumed any Fate media. I am no expert on this, and you know way, way more things about this series than I do. But your King is a reincarnation of a dead man, but with a female body, correct? She retains his personality, but none of his memories, correct? So I don’t think it is unreasonable to ask this: Let’s say there was an actual real person named Arthur and Saber was based off him, how do you feel about the actual man? Even if this Arthur she is based off is fictional, he is real in their universe, so my question would be the same. I’ll even ask this question more pointedly: If Saber through some plot magic was transformed back into King Arthur, would you love him? If the exact King Arthur she is based off was a real person in history, would you say that you love him?
This is not an attack, nor is this me judging you. I have often said that if my Sheik was a man like the shitposters say she is, I would love him the same. I’m just curious where you stand on this for Saber.
