I recognize it's not worth the time of day considering, and a lot of it may simply be "post-ironic humour," i.e., the lowest form of comedy, by people with nothing better to do with their lives than post all day on 4chan. All the same, they're still out there, and I wonder how those serious came to be ruled by such vitriolic hate. I don't feel that way towards Asuka, for example; I may not like her, but I can appreciate her problems and see some parts of my self reflected in her. Sometimes I joke about her, but I don't find it funny that she was mentally molested by Arael.
It's all so tiresome.
