I love my parents, but they would definitely perceive me differently if they knew I spent a not insignificant amount of my time looking at anime women on the internet. I feel like "fuck 'em" is a pretty harsh attitude toward people who are just different from you. Overall it depends on your environment, if it doesn't effect how other people perceive you that's awesome, but most of the time it does. And also, I like my masculinity, and I imagine others do too.
