Not every board is as fast as /a/ - check out /w/ or /i/ if you wanna see boards slower than /c/. This thread is pretty average as most threads on /c/ usually last anywhere from 1 to 4 months.
If you're complaining about lack of discussion, then feel free to start some up and see if anyone bites. Do know that discussion comes 2nd on /c/ as the main focus of the board is sharing images.
