But pixiv's romanization is wonky, not any standard system like hepburn. It's doing silly things like turning long vowel marks into hyphens and somehow adding random x into some words. Doubled n's too... Strike Witches gets plenty of hilarious names for all the european witches!

ストライク (sutoraiku) is correct. IPA would be roughly /straik/, same as strike.
ウィッチーズ (wixtsuchi-zu) is just insane. Brain hurts. Can't pars. Should be uiitchiizu, IPA /witchiiz/ or something like that.
Japanese is too weird a language. Yoshika has the right idea.
