>>4260274That's mostly why I said It'd be neat to see a series or film focused around the gap, since that civil war / rebellion in itself has no on screen or on page depiction aside from verbal references the characters make to it in 3.0 and Thrice.
One of them even has a neat little bit of dialogue in Thrice that I think gets overlooked. The pink haired side character is tying one of many arm bands onto another member, and she asks why he's sporting many, to which the other member responds "for each friend I lost in the uprising." I think either her or someone else follows up that question with "Why blue?" and a different member in the background responds "We wish to return the sea to it's original blue hue, so blue was chosen".
I know people have their gripes with the rebuilds but I like how they offer a different perspective to the series as well as serve as a sort of sequel to NGE while at the same time being something new.
