Honestly not quite sure how to feel about Snowrich's decision to have Shirou switch from 'Tohsaka' to 'Rin' when referring to her. The former has some charm, coming from him. I always saw it as showing that in Shirou's eyes Rin is still the ideal perfect honor student Tohsaka he walked past from time to time in high school. Ever after meeting the real her and seeing her weaknesses and insecurities underneath he still thinks she's as amazing as everyone said she was, if not more. It's why having Archer call her 'Tohsaka' one last time before he dies has so much impact, especially since in UBW the narration even goes into how even after what might be millennia he still admires her for the same reasons Shirou did. The fact that Shirou continues to idolize Rin like he did back then was always one of my favorite aspect of their relationship.
I was fine with him calling her Rin in the first doujin since there is something cute and fulfilling in having him call her that from time to time, during particularly emotional moments. But that only works if he keeps calling her 'Tohsaka' most of the time, with 'Rin' being saved only for the most special of occasions. I think having his completely abandoning the former is kinda silly. Maybe I'm overthinking this though.
I do find it odd she had to go so far as including a disclaimer at the start of both doujins. Is the Japanese fanbase that rabid when it comes to this stuff?
