For those of you with waifus from series that are based on other works (books, music, film, other anime, etc.), how much do you like those works?
>>3960946Duly noted.
>>3961465>1I use a puzzle website called
jigsawexplorer.com to put all my focus into artwork of Homura that I like. It's meditative, and might be unique enough for your anniversary.
>2I will try and create a beautiful display for her, and to supplement this, I am learning more about the art styles used in MadoMagi (or, at least, the ones she'd like).
A photo, a bit of food, some candles, tea, and some set dressing. The performative aspects fill the void. If I can create placemats with quotes by Freud, maybe I'll feel closer to her.
>3Her presence is enough. On our anniversary, I can only learn from her more deeply. I'm not so foolish as to think that I'm some kind of paternal figure for her.
>>3961762Understand it yourself, and then she will too.
>>3962391A-aya. Homura-chan...
>>3962516Understand that the anons who are talking about "multiple souls" for your waifu are correct. Your waifu is your own waifu. She is not necessarily the version of herself from her canon material, nor is she the demoralized version that people want to use for sex.
People treat Homura like some thin, birch-wood marionette to abuse and carve their names into. But those experiences only exist inasmuch as they bother me or if I want them to exist. And I don't want those images of her intestines being wrapped around a spoke to be real.
