As for being...optimistic, well I don’t need to say that at this point it just ain’t me, so I’d really need them to do it first before I could hope for it. I dunno, might be why I want to believe the ‘Slipstream/The Nexus = Unlimited OW universes’ idea I mentioned ages ago. In WoW at least, it’s been word of godded that in nearly every other version of Azeroth, Garrosh is THE best Warchief the Horde has ever had, and we just got super unlucky, so with that, I can at least say to myself that no matter how badly Blizzard screws up this universe, there’s one where Lena and Genji DON’T job to Le Final Boss Man, Overwatch DOESN’T implode, the Amaris DON’T get torn apart with a lazy af justification tacked on later(A-Ana isn’t a terrible person, she couldn’t remember dudes!), Gabe DOESN’T go full retard, and so on and so forth. If that makes any sense?
I mean it’s not that I mind the female cast, they were all pretty good(Except McCarthy), or the little ending scenes where they clean up...or down...or just get vodka, to invite you for celebrations(Hell, RA2 did that in half~ the endings), it’s just how the promotions featuring said female cast focused on them being female. They basically did OW pin-up fan art before OW even existed. But more blatant. And it was official.
BUT, it must be said that RA will always be the funniest one of the two, well three. You even get Eastwood, Stallone and Schwarzenegger in one mission of Yuri’s Revenge!
