I was born not breathing; I spent the first 3 days of my life on an artificial respirator. If I had been born outside of a hospital, I would have died. I think I was supposed to. It would have been my mother's third miscarriage. If you're familiar with NPC theory I think you can see where I'm going with this. Technology saved me when it shouldn't have, and now I'm just a soulless husk with neither the will to live or the will to die. It all makes perfect sense to me.
