That is pretty freaky to think about that Toji was getting assimilated in the plug and slowly being eaten by Bardiel. Ofc the Rebuilds made him a bit different since he was able to basically live inside Asuka's eye sorta like a parasite. Makes me wonder had they gotten to Toji sooner would it have been a Rebuild Bardiel scenario where Toji would've been put in stasis as a sorta angel-human hybrid.
>Im wondering if it could somehow hop from one Eva to another if one got close though.iirc in the show that is sorta explored since Bardiel tries to spread itself into unit 00 before Gendo orders the arm to be separated to prevent further infection. But that does make me want to explore some sort of alt scenario where Bardiel starts spreading thru the NERV facility and we get some sort of Dead Space or TLOU scenario where he's running rampant through out the facility and perhaps Misato and the other military crew have to fight it off while braced in Central Dogma protecting the MAGI or something.
>iirc Ritsuko mentions that LCL was known for a while and was in the dead sea scrolls, so it makes sense that anyone who knew of those could make or get LCL somehow.I wonder since Lilith was their source of LCL where would other places get their supplies. Or was NERV Japan the source for all LCL and they shipped it out in mass quantities around the world for work with the other Evas since it's implied other countries like the US, Germany & China (As well as Russia in the Rebuilds) are making and maintaining their own units along side the branch we follow in the series.
