For being the face of Overwatch they really don't seem to want to make people happy by making her an interesting and engaging character which she can absolutely be.Don't get me wrong, to other people I'd absolutely say she probably is already to some degree, it's just my personal viewpoint that ends with me looking upon her actions/lore rather poorly, if that makes sense.
>It's a necessary evil. Don't want to see the browser flooded with "Idle" and "Achievement" servers. I absolutely agree there, although a way I'd have wanted them to do it is, just for the Anniversary event, let people earn XP from Workshop games. As a nice little way to say thanks to the people who allow OWL to exist, us common plebs who like fun gameplay in their game, y'know?
I will also admit part of that wish is that I feel slightly annoyed that they slapped Workshop down during the event(Which I still say was the BEST/only time TO drop it, given it's the -Anniversary-) and then it partially becomes a sort of "You can have the cool skins, or the cool game modes, but not both, never both*" sort of thing.
Don't blame you for not wanting to play honestly, but we'll be here if you change your mind**. Wouldn't mind any Tracer Mercy if you have it, it's rather a rare occurrence as far as I've seen.
*Unless you like Gun game/randomly changing heroes for everyone.
