>>3326143Agreed, and I'm happy this worked out. For the sake of peace in the future, no more button-pushing unless it is completely unavoidable. In the interest of transparency, Widow is one of my buttons (or, more specifically, the drama that tends to follow her around), along with Doomie, Tracer abuse ("Lenabuse"?), and fanart of Pharah that lightens her skin tone.
WOOF, I forgot how bad Jaina got. To this day, even taking every single issue I have with OW into account, I -still- think that remains the single worst story-related decision Blizzard ever approved. I have met NO ONE who likes it. I admit I'm also concerned about the parallels you could draw with Lena, especially considering Blizzard's apparent obsession with ruining everything good and likable they create. But if there's one area of difference that gives me some measure of comfort, it's that Jaina never had a bunch of merchandise based on her earlier personality, so I'm a bit more confident that Lena's won't deviate so far over time. I just wish they'd stop trying to kill her, or punishing her for doing the right thing, or at least start taking it seriously.
At least it's just a dumb, irrelevant thing; and by making it we have confirmation they remember she exists and are still interested in using her, which is sadly more than you can say about poor Symmetra, Lucio and others by this point. Imma stay positive if it goddamn KILLS ME.
If you need help, then give me some time and I'll flood your Discord with puppy videos and cookie recipes. In the meantime, I'll be taking a sorely-needed break from this circus of unfailing frustration to hopefully put myself in better spirits (although I'll still be keeping these threads up). I think I'll play something less stressful and depressing. Like Darkest Dungeon. At least that game is HONEST about driving you insane.
