It's alright to be slow, new thoughts pop into my head every time I rewatch it. I only recently realised how much Kana cared about Kuu, it's never outright stated but she was clearly saddened over her leaving. The way she stood alone on their journey back from the shrine, how she knew someone had been cleaning Kuu's room, it's those little things that reward you for paying attention.
