There is, she's quite a bit shorter. Sometimes I like the idea of her being taller than me, but that idea works better with me being shorter than I am rather than her being taller than she is. It's hard to say since there's no concrete statement on her height and it varies depending on which source you use, but around 1/2-1 foot shorter, or a whole 2 feet shorter if you use that old poorly translated interview that says Sensei is only 2m tall.
I don't think she'd keep a diary, or if she did it would be a poorly maintained one she only remembers to write in once a month or so. I would certainly be tempted to read it, and it probably wouldn't be good for me if I was caught doing so.
