It might not be obvious from your point of view, but you don't really have to grieve over it. Waifu not being real is just a red herring, it doesn't determine your happiness. There is much more to it, and these things are very often actually in your control. It might seem like her becoming real would fix everything and make you happy but that is just and literally escapism. But even without her being here, you can still make your life enjoyable. It will take more work than her becoming magically real, but it's doable, and you really need to be happy with your life even without her, to properly appreciate her presence in it. She wouldn't want you to depend your own happiness on her either.
