Rei Q stands as a terrible and almost insulting version of Rei given the context, why anyone would take a liking to that when it should be in direct contradiction to Rei Ayanami's character is hard to believe.
The more of a fan you are, generally the more sensitive you are to things like these; and it's hard to separate just the "design" from the person the character represents, which what the character IS to such fans more than the design.
Rei Q is every bit as pretty and well-designed as Rei visually, since it's the same damned design.
What makes you not reject Rei Q (as Rei) ?
