Mai also tends to be a bit reckless and short-tempered and there are also times when she acts without thinking. But that's a part of her I've come to accept.
As for the best thing she has done. Probably the time she fought Ruupa on her own because she wanted to do something for her old friend, who had lost her memories. I think that moment really highlighted how much she cares about the people around her.
