>>3460373>I think I had felt that if I had loved each version of Sheik just as much as I loved her OoT iteration, it would devalue that love.Since those are not the ones you though you fell in love with right? Actually I do not believe that it's wrong to love only that one version of her since it's the one you met and made you start having those feelings of love even if they were complemented later bu her other versions. Even more considering that they might not even be the same person, since that Zelda is different and you aren't sure if the Sheik isn't as well. To put an example I think that it would be like falling in love with Ruto, and yet not caring about Lulu even if they are supposed to be the "same person" from different worlds, since they aren't actually the same. But they do share one aspect which is the one that makes you love her right? Not sure about what are the differences between her different versions through the games
>Sheik is Sheik. She does not need Zelda to be Sheik. She does not need the triforce to be Sheik.I used to think about this a lot regarding my own feelings regarding the reasons why I love my Kiyo and such. Caring and thinking about the reasons that makes me feel this way towards a fictional character when I was trying to justify my love, before I just ended up accepting these feelings and after some time realized that I stopped caring about the "reasons" that makes me love her as well, the only thing I care about is that she's Kiyo and I tuly love her, her being who she is, is the only reason I need to be in love. So rather than caring about the reasons that make me love her, I only care about the simple fact that I do love her.
Is that feeling what you are thinking now, the fact that you don't care if she either has her painful memories, knowledge trhough the triforce or things like that, that you'll always love her no matter what just because of the fact that she is Sheik?
