>>4260195>I think the individualised units fit more with NERV's way of doing itReally makes you wonder what sorta units they would've come up with after the 00-02, because when you look up images of unit 04's design which we never see directly in the show since it was lost in the S2 engine experiment, it's essentially just a recolour of unit 03 in white/ silver, and Asuka even mentions that units 00 & 01 were essentially test models to serve as a proof of concept and that her unit (02) was the first "real" Eva explicitly designed for combat and general "Eva stuff". So perhaps they would've standardized models after unit 02 & 03 and we'd effectively see those be issued to the children in different colour designations for visual command and strategy purposes?
