I read earlier there's some weariness for drama as well, that people aren't as engrossed and willing to use their meagre free time on incredibly serious, high intensity productions. When I thought of how much of that we have on TV here, I realised she probably wouldn't be comfortable with them.

And I might be continually disappointed but I'm still reading everything I can about her, since I can't find words to write my own fiction. I read one last night that summarises the experience well: an author whose previous shorts were alright and in-character, but this story immediately defied canon to call her a homosexual, then went drastically out of character to the point it made no sense in context of the story itself.
