>>>/a/170107406I should hope she'd really enjoy the amount of comedy we produce, but might find it kind of rude and dark. Japanese TV seems to have far more chat shows and light entertainment, or at least ones that aren't the butt of jokes in their culture to the point that people won't admit to watching them. I read earlier there's some weariness for drama as well, that people aren't as engrossed and willing to use their meagre free time on incredibly serious, high intensity productions. When I thought of how much of that we have on TV here, I realised she probably wouldn't be comfortable with them.
>>>/a/170107124Can I instead ask that she get interviewed on Desert Island Discs? I want to hear for myself what music she likes, we have so little to go on. I think a dance or waltz should be in there - I'd personally pick something classical to cheat the system and have a long, varied piece. There aren't many like that otherwise. Would she find Tubular Bells' B side as fun? I'd like to know.

And I might be continually disappointed but I'm still reading everything I can about her, since I can't find words to write my own fiction. I read one last night that summarises the experience well: an author whose previous shorts were alright and in-character, but this story immediately defied canon to call her a homosexual, then went drastically out of character to the point it made no sense in context of the story itself. See my previous answer about motivations, dammit.
