He gave the jewel sword to nagato, helped start the fuyuki holygrail war, is one of the 5 true magicians, and the only one other than rin to ever use Zelretch magic which is what lets you travel between the nasuverse which is why it's assumed he's always the same. He's all fate/SN and tsukihime i'm certain of that but i can't recall if he comes up in the VN or books associated with them.
Damn i really do love the nasuverses i really do hope they don't stop making these..
