>>2962111I enjoyed Uprising at least; mainly because I think Tracer's little speech partway through gives her some depth and helps her come across more seriously. And Young Justice is a great example for comparison, because it was also hamstrung by long delays between episodes and an overarching threat that seemed impossible to stop. Then it got cancelled right when things looked like that was about to change, so let's hope that's not an omen (Netflix is apparently bringing it back, but still).
That idea would be so amazing. And each character could have their own little journey that brings them on board. Mercy doesn't like overtly military behavior and was far from Overwatch's biggest supporter when things went under; I suspect that would make her pretty reticent to rejoin, so the others would have to do something that proves to her it's worthwhile in order to get her on their side. Every character could have something like that, and eventually we start seeing new blood like Zarya, Lucio and DVa recruited until we've basically got an unauthorized, crowdfunded Justice League operating covertly. I'd like to hope we'll get there one day, because that seems like a pretty logical progression to me; the whole problem is that we don't know, and "one day" could be years from now. It's a pity; I really like these characters, and I want so badly to root and cheer for them, but at the moment there's so little worth cheering for.
>>2962128Hot /scientist/ dick, thank you very much. And I see what you mean. If you're the type to invest yourself in the lore and aren't crazy about shipping, then even within the community there isn't much of a stop gap to tide you over, which is pretty disappointing considering how much is just begging to be explored.
