The anime adds some narration by Rock at the beginning of Calm Down Two Men, where he calls Roanapur an "evil city" and the "final stop on the way to hell". They also add an old lady ripping him off when he tries to buy some groceries.
Little, almost subliminal things that make me wonder if it was even a conscious choice by the director. On the way to Rowan's strip club the anime adds a scene showing Revy inhaling an entire cigarette at once. Any smoker can tell you that's an easy way to get a quick high when you're stressed. (also, it proves that Revy was lying when she said she didn't have a lighter in the cop car at the end of the episode.) Eda teases Revy about being bad with men in the anime. The OVA changes a conversation between Revy and Fabiola from a discussion about how Revy "only sees the world in black and white" to to conversation about how Revy is too scared of intimacy "run off" with Rock.
It's difficult to tell if this means Revy's backstory as a former S&M dancer is different though, especially with
>>2170725 revealing that Revy murdering her father was based on Hiroe's ideas and thus in line with his vision of Revy's character. If the anime gets to adapt the current chapter I suspect we'll find out, but that's a rather big if.
