That "Aoba ironing series" is composed of two parts, called 綾波観察日記 - Ayanami observation diaries. Basically a few sketches where Rei reacts to some key events (like the introduction of a new character - Kaworu, Asuka, Mari) or just some daily life shenanigans - hence the ironing one. This is another one, where Aoba is assignated to cook the meals for Rei and Kaworu.

Kaworu meanwhile asks... "ok... is it ready?" ... and says "curry", so probably Aoba is making for them Japanese Kare raisu.
Rei's annoyance at Kaworu is explained at another sketch of the series where she's mad that Kaworu spends too much time with Shinji. I'll post that next.
You're more than me into LRS probably, but the way she handles it is wonderful. I love her style - and seeing Rei happy. (Tbqh, after ARP, I do like me some Rei x male reader from time to time. Ah, dreams are the spice of real life).
