In my case I've just always happened to watch Kyoani series and similarly light-hearted anime shows. All that, along with the fact I felt something special when I saw Mai in the trailer for the anime are the main reasons why I decided to watch her series. Importing and reading her LN series later on was a decision prompted entirely by the love I have for her.
Not being very proficient at Japanese, it took all my free time over the span of 9 months, but even so I don't regret a single minute!

Though she is a bit of tomboy she does make sure to take care of herself and even uses some cosmetics (though not make up), mainly for her hair.
>What is her taste in anime, and video games like?I know she enjoys playing car games and she is decently skilled at them. So she must have some experience playing them. She would probably also like fighting games considering her main interests. I would love to play Street Fighter or DB FighterZ with her.
