>>1826017If you're thinking of XNA or Java, then I'd rather have something with Java + LWJGL or Slick, as XNA requires that XNA Game Studio is installed on the client. For me (and probably alot of people) this is a major turnoff. The easier and faster you make it for people to get into the game, the better.
Other alternatives could be Love2D. It uses Lua, but it's incredibly easy to distribute (and it's cross-platform!)
