she has a passion for reading and books in general, so I would imagine any book would be fine as long as she gets to relax and enjoy the company of someone close to her, she honestly may just want to read her friends personal favorites just so she can get to know them better and feel more connected to them
for a more specific answer, she would probably prefer a novel with noteworthy themes, but still provides a rich narrative
