That image is part of this neat little program called DTA, or DeskTop Accessory, I'm assuming.
There's a few, like Haruhi and K-ON!, that you can download and have different characters and themes for your desktop, such as wallpapers, clocks. calendars and even the characters themselves, though I'm not sure how any of it works.
Here's a site I found that has download links, but I think you can also go to KyoAni's site and download it there, I'm not entirely certain.
As it says on the site, the largest wallpaper size is 1900x1200, but I'll let you dig around and see if you can find anything else.
