>>2340472>this isn't about hisaso. This is about those who take hisaso's role. And the person in Hisao's role in any of the routes is presented with how he views things and what people tell him.
Lilly tells you it might be best to back off of Hanako for the moment and let her recoup on her own. Hisao wonders to himself if getting too close with her is a good idea. The player is able to make decisions regarding their relationship with Hanako with all this in mind.
She is able to recover from the panic attack on her own. She is able to sit down and have lunch with you in a crowded city during the day. She went to the park herself during the ending. Compare that to Act 1 where she runs off after your first meeting.
She has a road ahead of her, but she's not some weak girl needing protection.
If the player decides not to do this, they either continue to treat her as someone to protect in the neutral ending or it blows up in their face in the bad ending. It's presented right in front of the person taking Hisao's role.
Considering all this, I don't think this is a case of "Well I avoid these pitfalls to catch white knights, but I'm still going to protect this girl!" Someone can want to be there for someone, but not want to be overbearing or make it their mission to protect said person.
I'll ask again. How do you know what the people who have Hanako as a favorite girl/waifu/whatever like about her?
>The scars are a reason behind her behavior, but they are not the focus of the story>well duh. But they are scars, and should be drawn as such.>Yes it is about her scars. It is about how her scars inconvenience her life. Dude what?
