>>3721596As did I truthfully, I used to listen to a bunch of Johnny Hobo as a teenager so I thought homelessness would be a beautiful kind of dirty, and while I wasn't wrong, I quickly found out that being homeless meant that I didn't escape society as you put it, but I escaped civilized society instead.
I have many great memories, like the one of me and 10ish other people being knocked on our ass from acid around a fire in -30 weather, altruism that would be seen as suicidal and long discussions while trying to survive the Nordic winter with people I met an hour prior. But I also have many bad memories and regrets, most being about violence, hard drugs and run ins with the cops.
While most interactions with other people were closer to Yuu/Chi in a sense, Some were more akin to interactions in a post-apocalyptic RPG, you don't know if the person is telling the truth or looking for the best opportunity to rob you for the precious resources, which you scrapped together through any means necessary. Most of the time nothing happened of course, but the paranoia was still there.
