While she enjoys the job, she has some doubts about it. She does have an idea of what she would like to study though. Finally, in Pokemon Masters, she reveals that while she still has her worries, she's on the track to becoming a professor. Her reason for visiting the Pasio region is to help with her research topic: understanding the connection between people and Pokemon, and how she can help them be better friends.
