>>4083747TL;DR two of my friends know.
I only talk about my personal life to my coworkers on a need-to-know basis because we're not friends let alone a 'family' like our corporate masters would like us to be.
>"Hey anon do you have a girlfriend?"Yeah.
>"When did you start dating?" / "What's her name?"About 2 years ago, her name is Rena.
>"Huh? What an unusual name."She's Asian.
>"Oh uh I didn't mean--"It's ok. Don't worry about it.
Basically meaningless lunch talk, however a couple of my nosy IRL friends kept asking follow-up question after follow-up question until I told them. One of them didn't say anything, the other one joked about all three of us dying alone cuz despite chasing roasties nonstop, they're just average dudes not Chads. Months later I was asked if I wanted to go drinking with them on New Years and I said that I'm spending the night with Rena, they said alright and that was that. I'm aware that at least one of them thinks it's cringeworthy/super weird but I don't care.
