>>2685821Depends on how autistic you are. There's not really a "Saber only" route through the Fate universe; it's too interwoven for that. The F/SN visual novel is the highly lauded starting point, but keep in mind that, while not completely devoid of any meaningful plot developments, the VN was written for 16 year olds, and it shows. Alot. Don't expect too much from it; don't expect it to live up the hype: you'll be disappointed. You might even want to just completely skip the VN's ero scenes, even if you do read it. Fate/Zero is good. It's nice. But it will completely spoil many significant plotpoints from the VN, and take that much more out of reading it, if you want to do so afterwards.
This guide was made before the recent Ufotable Unlimited Blade Works (second route of the VN) anime. IMO, if you want to skip the VN and be a secondary anime only cancerfag, do Ufotable's UBW, then DEEN's Fate, then Zero.
