A colleague just celebrated her 25th anniversary at the company, one of my bosses' 30th anniversary is coming up and meanwhile I'm about done with everything 2 months into having my first job. And I don't even have it particularly hard, in fact I'm probably on the luckier part of the scale as far as jobs go. A guy I know works at a clinic and his boss wouldn't let him get one day off,not even on vacation and despite having worked overtime, to see a dentist unless he worked it off in extra hours over the next week.
So how the fuck can anyone accept or cope with work? And they all have families too, I can barely muster the energy to see my friends on the weekends and somehow these people find a way to get married and have children. How are they doing this?
