i only see people complain about yuri in general yuri threads. i've seen yuri get posted plenty of times (touhou, k-on, there is currently a 2nd wedding thread with it, threads for each of the madoka magica girls, and so on) and no one cares but the second a thread focused on girls being together, someone has to voice their opinion on how they don't like it - yuri threads have never been deleted and i don't see a thread based on /c/ content ever being deleted. do you complain at anons who start a discussion on anime and tell them to go to /a/? do you go into scenic threads and tell anyone who posts a wallpaper sized image to go to /w/? boards will overlap and thats perfectly fine so long as no rules are broken and the feel of the board isn't ruined.
this thread is /c/ute and if you don't want to see it, i recommend you hide the thread and stop telling people not to have board related fun
