There's no reason why you can't discuss anything while posting pictures, that's not a rule, and one may assume that picture-less posts are people who've already posted their waifus. /c/ is a pretty good place, all things considered, as most /c/ threads are essentially just single topic waifu threads already.
If anything, Waifu Threads would provide a more varied audience than say the Ryuko thread, which after 85 threads have probably produced a bit of repetition.
The only other options I can see are putting us in /jp/, in which we'd constantly be shit on for being largely EOPs; /qst/, which anons have told me are largely unsympathetic to us, or /a/, which is too quick paced to accommodate us. /a/ also has a policy against Generals, which can only effectively persecute smaller "Generals" like waifu threads, as larger ones like BNHA or SNK are spammed despite all censure.
Also, in light of this unique circumstance, I suggest asking /qa/ to allow the posting of men in waifu threads.
