I wouldn't be surprised if she got so depressed she might end it all if she couldn't be an idol or something super depressing. Being an idol is really important to her. She probably wouldn't smile much again. Then I'd go insane and probably die from no more smiles from her. I'm not really capable of carrying someone around. I can barely manage my own stupid various little issues. I would try my damnedest, but I'd probably sudoku if I couldn't help her enough. Or if she got depressed enough or something over it I could easily twist it into somehow being my fault then sudokuing. I never understood how the hell someone could cope with living like that, so maybe I'm biased a bit.
Now if someone else had hurt her and caused it I would seek vengeance for him/her hurting her so severely. I would turn become an oni. I would torture them with bamboo, a knife, pliers, wires, needles and heat. Maybe chemicals too. I'd even let them live horribly deformed so they get a taste of the lifelong pain they caused for her and I. I'd never let someone get away with hurting her like that. Maybe a bit edgy, but I always liked my revenge stories. I can't understand how someone wouldn't want revenge over something like that happening anyway.
