London is definitely a good place to visit, I hope you can pull it off, because it's worth it(I'd definitely go back in a heartbeat if I could). It's go so much history in it and, for a city, it's not hopelessly filthy. Also, if you're an American, it helps that the majority of people speak english, lol.
