>>3553862If she wanted to keep it that way I'd ask to meet halfway and ask her to cut it down to her waist at least. I hope she'd cut it though because I prefer her regular hairstyle because her bun is SO FREAKING CUTE. Also, long-hair isn't good in fights and she knows this.

>>3553775To me, a waifu would be a girl who is either shown to be depended on by a main character or other supporting characters, which is basically all characters. I don't think a waifu can come from some character who is literally just a design.
>Can a character be a waifu if they have a relationship in their source? In my case, and as
>>3553780 put it, if the source is told through the perspective of one character then they can be considered a self-insert MC. I imagine myself being in either a very similar situation as Shirou from Fate or literally just BEING him. It depends really, sometimes I feel like I would summon her and there she'd be, other times I want to live that experience of living in Japan and having that very same HGW be what starts our relationship. I don't know why people are ashamed of self-inserting as a character, or ashamed of calling a character a self-insert on an anonymous Tibetan throat singing luau.
It is sort of difficult to self-insert as a guy who has such personality though, but he's a good guy and is good to her so I try and treat her like he would, and try to live like he would.
